History

LWF was founded on January 5, 2004, in response to what seemed like an epidemic of executive failures of leadership; failures that were laying waste to companies, communities, and the lives of countless employees.

Studying these failures, LWF conceptualized “The Worthy Leadership Model” in 2005, with its focus on “the 3C’s” of leadership (The Capacity, Commitment, and Character to Lead). This model was a new lens through which organizations could view, assess, and develop executive leadership, and thus better understand what was leading to catastrophic failures of leadership in some cases, and significant successes in others

The following years have been marked by an enthusiastic response from a growing list of clients and the LWF team - and a clear dedication to making LWF the premier provider of talent and organizational development services.

The landmark article, “The Search for Worthy Leadership,” was published in December, 2008.
